The cover is green in honor of Victor Hugo’s Green Book for Negro Motorists which was compiled annually from 1936-1966 to provide a list of safe hotels, restaurants, boarding houses, etc. across the country.
​
During the Civil War, hot air balloons were used for aerial reconnaissance so scouts could see and detect the enemy miles away. The writers in this anthology did the same by sharing hard-won perspectives that can help you recognize and overcome obstacles in the workplace.

Phillip serves as the Managing Director of Phillip Speaks, LLC focusing on Keynote and Motivational Speaking, and Writing. Phillip formerly served as the Chief Operations Officer of the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ). ​
The most recent writing project includes the anthology, co-authored with other professionals across the country entitled Triumph In The Trenches, Navigating Success for Black Professionals. Stay tuned for the next project, which will be Volume 2 of Triumph In The Trenches to be released in February of 2025. ​​​ Phillip is also the Founder of Main Street Advisory, LLC.
